EvvntX — Solving Ticketing's Biggest Problems with Blockchain
The live events industry is plagued by fraud, scalping, and broken systems that hurt fans and organizers alike. The numbers tell the story: about 12% of people buying concert tickets get scammed, with £1.6 million lost to ticket fraud in 2024 in the UK alone. Meanwhile, the secondary market accounts for about 10% of all concert tickets purchased, with markup for resold tickets averaging 45% to 60%, and nearly 25% of tickets priced at more than $200 are fake.
EventX eliminates these pain points by putting ticketing entirely on-chain. We've created a platform where every ticket is a verifiable NFT, resale prices are capped by smart contracts, and entry is instant through QR code verification.
The Problem We're Solving:
- 12% of concertgoers experience ticket fraud (CNBC, 2018)
- 45-60% average markup on resold tickets (ResearchGate)
- 25% of premium tickets ($200+) are counterfeit (ClearSale)
- £9.7 million lost to ticket fraud in UK in 2024 alone (Action Fraud)
Our Solution:EvvntX creates transparent, fair ticketing through blockchain technology. Organizers set clear rules (capacity, pricing, resale caps) in smart contracts. Fans buy authentic, transferable tickets they truly own. Venues get foolproof verification.
