Aleph Hackathon

CLIQ is a self-custodial payment terminal for small businesses that allows them to create invoices and settle them in USD₮ through Tether WDK. Its agent, integrated with WDK CLI and MCP, operates exclusively on existing invoices and applies code-enforced guardrails, including spending limits, immutable recipients, and human confirmation before broadcasting any payment. CLIQ also supports gasless payments through ERC-4337, allowing transaction fees to be paid in USD₮ without requiring ETH, and generates Ed25519-signed, hash-chained receipts to detect tampering. The ledger can be synchronized between terminals through Hyperswarm, while QVAC enables local transaction queries and reconciliation without sending financial data to external servers. The application is distributed as a standalone CLI through Pear and receives peer-to-peer OTA updates.
